Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. How subscriptions are billed
Liv+ subscriptions for hostel owners are sold and billed by the app store you installed the app from — the Apple App Store or Google Play. Liv+ does not take your payment directly and does not hold your card, bank or UPI details for it. Rent paid by a tenant to an owner is a separate thing entirely and never passes through Liv+.
2. Refunds
Liv+ does not issue refunds. Subscription fees are not refunded on cancellation, on moving to a smaller plan, or for any part of a period you did not use.
Refunds for a store purchase are decided by the store, under its own policy, and Liv+ is not part of that decision. Google Play offers its own refund request process, and Apple decides App Store refunds itself. If a store does grant a refund, your Liv+ subscription ends as soon as we are told about it.
3. Cancelling
You cancel in the store that sold you the plan — your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. You keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and it does not renew after that. No money is returned for the remainder of the period.
4. Changing plan
Moving to a bigger plan takes effect immediately, and the store charges the difference for the rest of the current period. Moving to a smaller plan takes effect at your next renewal date — you keep the plan you are on until then, and no money is returned for the difference.
5. If a payment fails
The store tells you and keeps trying to collect. Your account carries on working normally while it does. If the store cannot collect, your account becomes view-only for one day and is then paused.
Paused does not mean deleted. You stay signed in, you can still open the app and export your data at any time, and everything comes back the moment a payment succeeds. Nothing is removed while your account is paused.
6. Questions
Write to grievance@livplus.app before raising a chargeback with your bank. We aim to reply within 10 business days.
